Lesson 1: God of the impossible
(John 20:31)
Only God can do the impossible. These are called miracles. The miracles show us that Jesus is God’s son, so that we may believe in Him.
Lesson 2: Jesus turned water into wine
(John 2:11)
Jesus’ first miracle was to turn water into wine at a wedding. This miracle showed that Jesus has power and authority over time and nature. Those that saw what Jesus did, believed in Him.
Lesson 3: Jesus healed the Official’s son
(Hebrews 11:1)
The official had faith that Jesus would heal his son, even from far away. Even though we can’t see Jesus, we can have faith in Him too. This miracle showed that Jesus has power and authority over distance and sickness.
Lesson 4: Jesus is the healer of all
(Psalm 147:3)
Jesus is our healer. He healed the man at the pool of Bethsaida and he healed the woman at the well from her sin. These miracles show that Jesus has power and authority over sin and sickness.
Lesson 5: Jesus feeds the 5000
(John 6:47-48)
The miracle of Jesus using a little boy’s lunch to feed 5000 men and so many more, shows us that we can trust in Jesus to provide for all our needs. More importantly we learn that Jesus is all-knowing and He is the bread of life.
Lesson 6: Jesus heals the man born blind
(Psalm 111:3a)
Jesus healed a man that was born blind so that people could see God’s power when he was healed. The healed man chose to believe that Jesus is God’s son. This miracle shows us that Jesus can heal both physical and spiritual blindness.
Lesson 7: Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead
(Romans 6:23)
Jesus waited for His friend, Lazarus, to die before going to raise him from the dead. He did this so that we could see that He has power and authority over death and life. Only when we believe in Jesus, do we receive eternal life.
Lesson 8: The miracle of love
(Romans 5:8)
Jesus showed such love when He healed the ear of the enemy who was coming to arrest Him but nothing is as great as the love He showed us on the cross. The miracle of being saved from our sins is as easy as A, B, C.
Lesson 9: Jesus has power over all
(John 20:31)
After Jesus is raised from the dead he makes breakfast on the beach to share with his disciples. This intimate miracle shows that Jesus cares about us personally and that He has a job for us to do.
