Lesson 1: A Message from the King
(Matthew 13:9)

Jesus came to earth with a message from God. Jesus wants us to hear, understand, accept and obey His teaching. Jesus used stories to teach lessons that are still relevant to us today.

Lesson 2: The Kingdom of Heaven Parables
(Matthew 13:44-46; Luke 14:15-24; Matthew 13:33)

Jesus uses the pictures of a treasure, a pearl, a great feast or banquet and yeast to teach us about God’s Kingdom and how we can be a part of it right now by choosing Jesus as our Saviour.

Lesson 3: Parable of the Rich Fool – Salvation lasts forever
(Matthew 6:33)

Nothing is more valuable than our Salvation and relationship with Jesus. And all we have to do to receive it is believe in and follow Him.

Lesson 4: Parable of the Lost Sheep and Coin – God’s Love
(Luke 19:10)

Before we find Jesus, we are “lost”. We ALL matter to God and so He sent His Son to save us. Heaven rejoices when we are “found”.

Lesson 5: Parable of the Unforgiving Servant – Forgive and do not judge
(Ephesians 4:32)

Jesus forgave us and therefore we are called to forgive others. Jesus uses the picture of a log and speck to illustrate that we should not judge others.

Lesson 6: Parable of the Good Samaritan – Love Others
(John 13:34)

Jesus taught us to love others the way He loves us. When we help those in need, it is like we are helping Jesus Himself. When we do this, we are showing God’s love to the world.

Lesson 7: Parable of the Talents – Give Glory to God
(1 Corinthians 10:31)

God gives us all talents and He expects us to use these gifts and talents to bless others and bring glory to God. We shouldn’t compare our talents with others.

Lesson 8: Parable of the Persistent Widow and Neighbour – Prayer
(1 Thessalonians 5:17)

We speak to God through prayer. God hears our prayers but He also wants us to keep praying and keep asking Him for the things we need.

Lesson 9: Parable of the Wheat and Net – Choose Jesus
(Deuteronomy 30:20)

Jesus wants everyone to choose Him because He is the only way to eternal life.

Lesson 10: Parable of the Vine and Branches – Stay close to Jesus
(John 15:4-5)

We need to stay close to Jesus so that we always know His will for our lives and the Holy Spirit can guide us.
