In this series we learn about the “Great Commission” and how Jesus used ordinary people just like us to continue the work He started.

Lesson 1: Accepting the Mission
(Luke 19:10)

Jesus teaches us that He came to seek and save the lost. By having a meal with Zacchaeus, the sinner’s life is changed!

Lesson 2: Target Located: Jesus Recommissions Peter
(Matthew 28:19)

Even though Peter messed up, Jesus spent time with Peter and asked him to feed and take care of His sheep.

Lesson 3: Headquarters Established: The Early Church
(Acts 4:32a)

The early church listened to the Apostle’s teachings, shared meals and broke bread together, prayed together, met and helped each other as well as worshipped together. We are the church and we should be doing the same.

Lesson 4: Surveillance Intelligence: Listen, Learn & Pray
(1 John 5:14)

Peter and John didn’t have silver or gold to share with the lame man but they did have something even greater! We can be confident that God hears our prayers whenever we ask Him for something that pleases Him.

Lesson 5: Faith and Trust in Head Agent G.O.D!
(Hebrews 11:1)

The 12 spies all saw the same thing, huge grapes and huge giants, yet only Joshua and Caleb had faith that God would help them win over the promised land of Canaan.

Lesson 6: Mission: Tell Others
(Romans 10:14)

Paul and Silas were thrown in jail for telling others about Jesus, but when an earthquake set them free they chose to stay behind to tell the guard and his family too.

Lesson 7: Mission: Give Cheerfully
(2 Corinthians 9:7b)

How difficult it must have been for the widow to give her and her son’s last meal away to Elijah, yet how faithful was God to keep providing for them! Jesus loves a cheerful giver.

Lesson 8: Mission Need-to-know: Tell Your Testimony
(Romans 1:16)

We don’t need to be ashamed of the Gospel because it has the power to save lives. The Samaritan woman at the well, the man at the pool and the man freed from evil spirits all just simply shared their story. Jesus wants you to share your story too.

Lesson 9: Mission: Recruit More Agents
(1 Timothy 4:12)

Our lives need to be a good example to other believers in the way we live, what we say, our actions and our purity. Paul was not always a good example but when He met Jesus he was completely changed. Will you let Jesus change you too?
