Lesson 1: My God is my God
(Isaiah 46 :9)

God is the one and only true and living God. His son, Jesus, is the only person throughout history that has perfectly matched every single prophecy made about the promised Saviour.

Lesson 2: My God is my love
(Ephesians 3:18)

God is love and His love for us is deeper and wider than we can understand. Look how Jonah disobeyed God and yet God still loved him.

Lesson 3: My God is my faith
(Hebrews 12:2)

God wants us to have faith in Him and faith in Him alone. When Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he had faith to walk on water. Keep your eyes on Jesus, He is the perfecter of your faith.

Lesson 4: My God is my courage
(Joshua 1:9)

David, Joshua, Caleb, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego all had something to fear whether it be a giant, an army, or a fiery furnace, yet all of them had courage. Where did their courage come from?

Lesson 5: My God is my joy
(Luke 10:20b; Philippians 4:4)

The life of Paul shows us that our joy from knowing that we have eternity with God cannot be taken away – no matter how tough times may get.

Lesson 6: My God is my forgiveness
(1 John 1:9)

The parable of the prodigal son shows us how different life looks with the Father and without the Father. Forgiveness cannot be earned, but instead is a gift that God has given us through His son Jesus.

Lesson 7: My God is my hope
(Hebrews 6:19)

Abraham, Sarah, Daniel, Mordecai, Hannah, David, Nehemiah, Job, Paul and the disciples all put their hope in God. Let’s see what their stories can teach us about putting our hope in God too.

Lesson 8: My God is my peace
(John 14:27)

The story of Jesus calming the storm shows us that no matter how scary times may get – Jesus brings peace like no one else can.

Lesson 9: My God is my life
(1 Corinthians 10:31)

On our own we cannot be everything God has created us to be but when we let God impact every area of our lives, we can grow strong and show God’s character to others.
