All In

All In

In this series, children will explore the stories of people in the Bible who trusted, obeyed, prayed, and shared the Good News, even when it was hard. Through these examples, they will learn what it means to live all in for Jesus in every part of life. They’ll discover how to be all in for God’s will, His plans, and His church. Most importantly, children will see that Jesus was all in for us first, and because of that, we can live all in for Him.

Lesson 1: What does it mean to be “all in”  for Jesus (Joshua 22:5)

The Bible teaches us to seek, love, trust, serve and live for Jesus with all of our hearts. Being “all in” for Jesus means we surrender everything to Him, all the time.

Lesson 2: Seek His will in all you do – Jehoshaphat (Proverbs 3:6)

When we look for God’s intentional plan and choose to live in His will, we can have peace that we will be protected and guided by Him and all things will be possible.

Lesson 3: All in for God’s plans – John the Baptist (Psalm 40:8)

God has a special plan for every one of our lives, even if we don’t fully understand it all the time. Just like John we need to be “all in” for helping others know Jesus and get ready for when He returns.

Lesson 4: Trust in the Lord with all your heart – Mary (Proverbs 3:5)

Mary knew God and that’s why she could trust Him even though what He was asking of her was scary and confusing. When we know Him, we can trust Him and have no fear of the situations we are facing.

Lesson 5: All in to trust and obey Jesus – Jeremiah (Joshua 22:5)

We can and should trust and obey Jesus all the time the way Jeremiah did, even when it seems strange or difficult.

Lesson 6: All in with your prayers – Hannah (Colossians 4:2)

We can bring everything to Jesus in prayer, listening to what He says and getting to know Him.

Lesson 7: All in to share the Good News – Stephen & Paul (Romans 1:16)

We can confidently share the Good News about Jesus as it is God’s power that saves and no one can stop the Good News from spreading!

Lesson 8: All in for Jesus and His church – Barnabas (2 Corinthians 9:7)

The believers in the early church shared everything they had so that the Good News could go out. Barnabas went “all in” for Jesus and His church but Ananias did not.

Lesson 9: All in for Jesus, with whatever you do (Colossians 3:17)

Whatever you do, do it for Jesus!

Lesson 10: Jesus is all in for us (1 John 3:18)

Jesus was all in for us when He died on the cross and came alive again so that our sins could be forgiven. He did not only say He would be all in but His actions showed that He was!
